The woke mob is rising up! With an absolutely unhinged dedication to diversity, bodily autonomy, and democracy itself, we are undrainable swamp people who work hard every day to keep our home in the DMV culturally hostile to the fascists in power. And honestly? We deserve to have fun while we do it.
The Woke Mob Comedy Festival runs the second weekend in April and celebrates everything that makes this region the best, even as the rest of the country sends us its worst. We’re showcasing the DMV’s funniest comedians, especially highlighting BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+ and gender-queer performers.
It'll be hilarious, joyful, AND every show gives back! With our neighbors under attack, we're raising funds for local organizations that are helping some of our region's most vulnerable.
